Popular actress and scholar Leslie Goddard returns to FPCD to give an historical portrayal of Eleanor Roosevelt, wife of the 32nd president of the United States, who was a fascinating and influential public figure in her own right.

Born into wealth during America’s Gilded Age, she grew from a shy, homely orphan to become a confident, driven woman who championed human rights causes. Drawn from her own letters, diaries, newspaper columns and other writings, this performance captures the warm, honest and passionate First Lady and stateswoman.

Dessert will be served before the program. Cost is $20 per ticket.

This program is sponsored by the Presbyterian Women
